PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing aluminum-silicon dioxide plated steel sheets by adopting vacuum vapor deposition utilizing an electron beam is provided to produce an aluminum-silicon dioxide plated steel sheet having superior corrosion resistance and brightness. CONSTITUTION: The aluminum-silicon dioxide plated steel sheet is manufactured by heating a base steel sheet to the temperature range of 100 to 350deg.C; vacuum depositing a mixture of aluminum-silicon dioxide containing 1-10wt.% of aluminum in a deposition amount of 2g·Al-SiO2/m¬2·steel sheet.
