<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a propagation spurious mode wave by providing a reflec tion circuit separated from an exiting circuit by the portion of a canceling distance in the electromagnetic exciting circuit of a reflection wave of a spuri ous mode wave propagation between a plurality of parallel flat conductors. SOLUTION: A parallel plate mode generated at the point (a) of a transmission line propagates by radiation, but fully reflects at a spurious mode reflecting circuit provided in parallel with a transmission line, reaches the point (b) of the transmission line, excites a parallel plate mode wave and is radiated also here, thereby this wave and the reflected wave, interfere with each other. When this interference operates in the direction of intensifying an electric field, conversion to the parallel plate mode is promoted and when it operates in a weakening direction, the conversion is suppressed. The interfering condition is decided by the propagating characteristics of the transmission line and the parallel plate mode and is changed by a parallel plane conductor structure area width (w). Then, if the width (w) at a distance where the phase difference of interfering two waves is equivalent toπ, the spurious mode is most suppressed.</p> |
