SOLUTION: This video-contents registration system has a data reception section 121 that is connected to an external storage device or an external network and receives coded video data from the external storage device or the external network. A shared buffer section 124 storing the coded video data received by the data reception section 121 is connected to the data reception section 121. A data analysis section 122 that analyzes the coded video data stored in the shared buffer section 124 is connected to the shared buffer section 124.
