PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic component emitting device which is constituted to emit an aromatic component at a stable concentration when required. SOLUTION: An aromatic component emitting device 100 emits an aromatic component contained in an aromatic material 20 into air 71. A first means changes the emitting amount of the aromatic component by adjusting a clearance 24 which is formed between a container 10 and a lid body 30 in contact with the upper surface of the aromatic material 20 so as to make air 70 and 71 flow. The clearance 24 is adjusted in such a way that a control section 60 controls the opening H1 of the clearance 24 by moving the lid body 30 by means of a motor 50. A second means make the air 70 and 71 flow by providing a pressure difference P1>P2 between the pressure P1 of the air 70 in a conduit tube 81 installed to the lid body 31 and the pressure P2 of the air 71 in another conduit tube 82. A third means adjusts the flowing amounts of the air 70 and 71 by adjusting the pressure difference P1>P2 by controlling the rotating speed of an air pump 86 installed to the conduit tube 81 by means of the control section 60. The device which utilized the aromatic component emitting device 100 includes an air conditioner, air cleaner, etc., incorporated in an air treating device.
