PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an automobile accident caused by a speech of a portable phone by disabling transmission and reception of the portable phone by a driver while the driver is driving an automobile. SOLUTION: The radio wave interruption device for automobile is provided with a driving enable state discrimination means 10 that discriminates the automobile to be in a driving enable state when an engine key 3 is turned and an engine starter motor is started and transmits an interruption wave interrupting reception and transmission of a radio wave with a prescribed frequency the same as a radio wave frequency of a portable phone possessed by a driver at least around a driver's seat through an antenna 21 of an interruption wave transmission means 20 when the means 10 discriminates the driving enable state.
