PURPOSE: A method for preventing concentrated abrasion of the pipe of a winder which forms a hot rolled wire rod in a circular shape and the pipe of the winder are provided to improve productivity of wire rod coil and reduce defected products by perforating a hole on the opposite side to an area in which concentrated deflective abrasion is generated on the pipe of the winder during an ordinary rolling production. CONSTITUTION: In a method for forming a hot rolled wire rod in a circular shape using a pipe of the winder, the method for preventing concentrated abrasion of the pipe of the winder (10) which forms a hot rolled wire rod in a circular shape comprises the process of forming one or more holes (12) on the opposite side of the pipe of the winder in which concentrated deflective abrasion is generated so that the external air can be flown into the surrounding area of the pipe, thereby causing the pressure variation of the air inside the pipe so as to prevent abrasion of the pipe of the winder by the wire rod. In a pipe of a winder for forming a hot rolled wire rod into a circular shape by forming a continuous circular path inside thereof in a length direction, the pipe of the winder (10) comprises one or more holes (12) at an area where concentrated deflective abrasion is generated, wherein the holes penetrate the inside and outside of the pipe (10).
