PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the image of an excellent quality by obstructing the rotational speed from lowering of an intermediate transfer body by imparting larger driving force than that of the rotating/driving means of a photoreceptor to the rotating/driving means of the intermediate transfer body when a cleaning blade abuts on the intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: A CPU 50 controls a solenoid 53 driving the cleaning blade, a DC servomotor 54 driving a photoreceptive belt and a DC servomotor 55 driving an intermediate transfer belt, The solenoid 53 acts at the point of time when the toner remaining on the intermediate transfer belt without being transferred on paper reaches the cleaning blade, so that the cleaning blade abuts on the intermediate transfer belt. Driving force corresponding to frictional force between the cleaning blade and the intermediate transfer body belt is imparted to the DC servomotor 55 from this point of time. Thus, speed is not changed, so that the transfer irregularity of yellow which is a final color and the distortion of an image formed on the paper are not caused. |
