<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting positional relation of a component that makes the wiring of a back plane of a disk controller having a select logical part satisfactory. SOLUTION: Connector mounting positions 102 to 115 where a board of each part is connected are provided on the surface and rear face of a back plane 101, and when the positions 113 and 114 are defined as connectors for boards where a cache memory part and a shared memory part are mounted and the positions 112 and 115 are defined as connectors for boards where cache memory parts are mounted, the case is shown when the positions for boards where select logical parts are mounted are defined as the positions 102 and 103 which are separated most from the positions 112 to 115 for memory parts. The other positions 104 to 111 are defined as positions for boards of channel IF parts and disk IF parts. In such a case, wiring connecting respective parts is shown as a shared memory path group 150, a path group 151 connecting the channel IF parts, the disk IF parts and the select logical parts and a path group 152 connecting the select logical parts and the cache memory parts.</p> |
