PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch application system which can safely and easily perform patch application to a load module. SOLUTION: A remote maintenance node 2 generates a specific patch code and supplies patch application information including the generated patch code to a patch manager P3. The patch manager P3, once receiving the patch application information, updates a load module management record and a patch management record stored in a patch management information storage area M1. Further, the patch manager P3 writes the patch code included in the patch application information into an unused entry in a patch code storage area M3. Then the patch manager P3 sets a patch code entry number indicating the entry where the patch code is written at an entry of a patch address storage area M2.
