PURPOSE: A stacked structure of an electric double layer capacitor is provided to obtain the required voltage by adopting a simple stacked structure of the electric double layer capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A stacked structure of an electric double layer capacitor comprises the first device including a (+) lead line(20) formed at a side of an upper electrode(16) and a (-) lead line(22) formed at a side of a lower electrode(18) in such a manner that the (-) lead line(22) is symmetrically disposed with respect to the(+) lead line(20). A separator(24) is inserted between the upper electrode(16) and the lower electrode(18). The second device(14) has a (+) lead line(20) formed at a side of the upper electrode(16) and a (-) lead line(22) formed at a side of the lower electrode(18) such that the (-) lead line(22) is offset from the (+) lead line(20). The second device(14) is positioned below the first device. The (+) lead line(20) of the first device is welded to the (-) lead line(22) of the second device(14). The first and second devices are contained in a case. After sealing the case, the (-) lead line(22) is withdrawn from the upper portion of the case. |
