COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEMORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the coordinate input device which suppresses the influence of disturbing light to enable high-resolution and high-performance coordinate input. SOLUTION: A light spot is detected by linear sensors 20X and 20Y. A sensor control part 31 calculates the difference between a 1st signal and a 2nd signal that the linear sensors 20X and 20Y output by detecting the ON state and OFF state of the light spot. Then a control signal based upon the peak level of the difference signal is generated. The device is equipped with a display control means which controls display properties of an image displayed according to the light spot on the basis of the control signal.
