PURPOSE: A structure for reinforcing a rear end panel is provided to improve safety of an occupant by reinforcing stiffness of a rear end panel in a rear-end collision. CONSTITUTION: A rear end panel(20) is combined to the rear end of a rear floor panel(10), and a pair of junction brackets(30) are symmetrically attached to both inner faces of the rear end panel. Both front ends of an impact bar(40) are fitted in retaining units(32) of the junction brackets. Upon application of an external impact to the rear end panel in a rear-end collision, deformation of the rear end panel is restrained by the impact bar. Therefore, safety of an occupant is secured.
