A CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT OF CHAIR USING CAM CYLINDER

PURPOSE: A chair height adjusting device with using a cam cylinder is provided to adjust the height of a chair stably in the position corresponding to the body shape of a user, and to reduce costs and failure rate with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A height adjustor comprises a cam cylinder(10) fixed in a leg part(11), and an internal cylinder(20) fixed in a seat part(21). The cam cylinder and the internal cylinder are supported by an elastic spring(30), and combined longitudinally to slide. The height adjustor is placed in the cylinder combination portion to adjust the height of the chair in the set position. The seat part is placed high by supporting the internal cylinder with the elastic spring, and a restricting protrusion(23) is inserted to a restricting groove of an elongated hole vertically installed in an assembling part(16). The height of the chair is adjusted in the set position with applying resilience to the cylinder longitudinally in inserting the restricting protrusion to the restricting groove along the outer periphery of the cam cylinder.
