PURPOSE: Discharge noise reducing structure of a hermetic rotary compressor is provided to reduce noise in a process of discharging refrigerant gas compressed in a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A discharge hole(5'a) is formed on a side of a bearing(5') coupled with a cylinder. The cylinder has a compression space for compressing refrigerant gas. The discharge hole is communicated with the compression space. A discharge valve and a retainer are connected to the bearing. The discharge valve opens the discharge hole, and the retainer supports the discharge valve. An absorbing groove(5'b) is formed on the bearing around the discharge hole, and a resonance groove(5'c) is formed on a side of the absorbing groove. A rolling piston is rotated by a rotational shaft(4) to suck and compress refrigerant gas. The compressed refrigerant gas is discharged to the discharge hole through the opened discharge valve. A part of the discharge gas flows into the absorbing groove. Therefore, discharge noise is reduced through a resonator.
