<p>A device for positioning, lifting and handling a marine structure, particularly a jacket, within the docking area of a U-shaped lifting vessel (1). The device consists of: a tubular rotation beam (22) mounted on top of the vessels (1) foundation structure (2a, 2b, 2c), lifting brackets (25) attached to one side of the jacket, under which the tubular rotation beam (22) is positioned and locket with the lifting brackets (25) during operation, so that the jacked can be handled, i.e. lifted and rotated about the tubular rotation beam (22).</p> |
