<p>Dihydrolipoic acid (DHL) and α-lipoic acid are useful for treatment and prevention of damage to the retina arising from physical forces such as exposure to laser beams. Preferred compositions containing phenyl nitrones and DHL or α-lipoic acid are highly effective as neuroprotective agents.</p> |
