PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a large size image with high resolution by magnifying divided (N×N) area of a page to be the specified times for every area and printing them. SOLUTION: Entire printing data for the portion of one page are scanned (30), the size of a sheet of paper where data are written is changed into 1/(N×N), one page is divided by N-rows and N-columns (N×N areas) and the printing order is discriminated (32). The effective page areas and the other ineffective page areas are specified, based on the discrimination result (34). Only printing data corresponding to the effective page areas are extracted and transmitted to a second spooler (36). The printing data are preserved (38). Development to a bit map according to resolution is executed at every page, based on a given horizontal and vertical magnifying rate K (40). After this processing, a color correcting part and an H/T processing part executes each processing (42). When the processings are completed, printing data are outputted to a printing device (44).
