The cleaning appliance consists of a wiper-belt and a floor-side deflector roller pivot mounted on a support (1.) The top end of the support has a drive mechanism and gripper handles. The bottom end has a guide piece by which the support is inserted into a catch (14) fixed to the rim fitment on the bucket (33). The guide piece consists of a rigid plug-in arrangement (27) fixed into the catch. The squeeze roller (25) is freely pivot mounted on a swivel lever mounted on the rim-fitment.
