Razor shaving devices (850) feature an elongated head, with two sets of razor blade strips (871, 872, 873) pointing outwardly in opposite directions, arranged in line with an elongated handle (852). The devices are designed for safely and rapidly shaving hair from legs and arms. The razor-sharp edges of blade strips of the two sets may be arranged in one common working plane (896), or each set may be in its own working plane (888, 889), with the planes at an angle to one another. The working planes are defined by the elongated front and rear guard surfaces (792, 794) of the blade-edge guarding system on the face of the razor head. The bi-directional head may be molded (251) or assembled (420) or may be made as a replaceable bi-directional cartridge (520), or two uni-directional razor blade heads (858, 859) arranged near one another and supported by a common yoke.
