Safety device for film removing apparatus

A safety device is provided for a film removing and peeling apparatus, which rolls a coated resin member between a pair of rolls (11,12) facing each other and rotating at different peripheral rotating speeds and which applies a shearing stress between the resin material and a film to peel the film from the resin material. The safely device includes: a flat plate (21) to which a resin material is fed, the flat plate being provided so as to extend in a substantially horizontal direction at a height substantially corresponding to a gap between the rolls, and the flat plate having a front edge (21a) located so as to be close to the rolls; a pushing plate (23) for pushing the flat plate to squeeze the resin material into the gap between the rolls; and an air cylinder (22) for moving the pushing plate in a forward direction to cause the pushing plate to push the flat plate.
