PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of easily and surely positioning both panels because, in a wheel arch part of a vehicle body, for example, on a rear wheel side, since the positioning of a quarter panel against a wheel house outer panel was performed on the side of equipment such as positioning jig, not only working was troublesome but also there was a variation in the degree of positioning, and stable spot welding was difficult to be performed. SOLUTION: A structure for positioning a quarter panel 2 against a wheel house outer panel 3 is formed so that a positioning projection part 8 expanding downward in the direction of plate thickness is provided at a flange part 3a of the wheel house outer panel 3, and a positioning recessed part 6 is cut-formed at a flange part 2a of the quarter panel 2. Then, the positioning projection part 8 is fitted into the positioning recessed part 6 so as to form a structure where a bottom edge 6a of the positioning recessed part 6 is brought into contact against the positioning projection part 8.
