<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high power output hydraulic-pneumatic hybrid actuator which can reduce a time lag and can restrain abrupt speed increase and oscilla tion at a stop position with the use of a pneumatic cylinder and a hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: Pneumatic cylinders 1, 3 and a hydraulic cylinder 2 are attached to an upper plate 4 in parallel with each other. Pneumatic control valves 7A, 7B control the feed and discharge of pneumatic air in chambers 1A, 3A in the pneumatic cylinders 1, 3 in accordance with a control signal from a controller C. When a control signal is delivered from the controller C to a control valve 11, the opening degree of the control valve 11 is controlled so as to restrict the flow rate of hydraulic oil, or a passage is completely closed so as to inhibit the flow of hydraulic oil. By changing the opening of the control valve 11 so as to vary the damping coefficient, the hydraulic cylinder 2 can be used as a damper while by completely closing the passage, the hydraulic cylinder 2 can be used as a brake.</p> |
