PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact press of high work efficiency by having a first press which is provided with a first moving die moving toward and retreating from a first fixed die, and a second press which is provided with a second moving die arranged in the die moving direction of a first press die and moving toward and retreating from a second fixed die, and reciprocating the first/second moving dies integrally. SOLUTION: An upper die (first fixed die) 11 of a first press die 1 is fixed to the lower face of an upper base 3 and a lower die (first moving die) 12 to the upper face of a sliding base 4. An upper die (second moving die) 13 of a second press die 2 is fixed to the lower face of the sliding base 4 and a lower die (second fixed die) 14 to the upper face of a lower base 5. A hydraulic cylinder (drive means) 21 reciprocates the sliding base 4. Works are respectively set to the first press die and the second press die. By ascending/descending the sliding base 4 with the hydraulic cylinder (drive means) 21, the works are worked.
