PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intercept penetration of penetrating light from the outside to an image carrier of an image forming device. SOLUTION: This penetrating light intercepting mechanism is provided near a conveyance rotary body pair 4 and 5 sandwiching and conveying a sheet between an image carrier 7a wherein a toner image is formed of the image forming device forming an image on the sheet, comprised so as to intercept penetrating light penetrating from outside and irradiating the image carrier 7a, and is provided with a light shielding body 6 rotatably provided along an outer periphery of one rotary body 5 of the conveyance rotary body pair and normally positioned at a downstream side in a sheet conveyance direction. This light shielding body 6 has an abutted piece 6c abutted by a tip of a sheet entering the conveyance rotary body pair 4 and 5, and a light shielding piece 6b positioning at air upstream side of the one rotary body 5 when it is rotated to the upstream side in the sheet conveyance direction by the abutting of the sheet. |
