PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an eye drop useful as e.g. a therapeutic agent for neuroretinal degenerative diseases by including a specific amide compound. SOLUTION: This eye drop contains a compound of formula I [Ar is a (substituted) phenyl or (substituted) aromatic heterocyclic group; n is 0-2; R1 is H, a (substituted) alkyl or alkenyl or the like; R2 and R3 are each a (substituted) alkyl, or two or three of R1 to R3 are mutually bound to form a ring together with the carbon atom to which they are bound; R4 and R5 are each H or a (substituted) alkyl; R6 is H, OH or an alkyl] (e.g. N-t-butyl-2,4- difluorobenzamide). The compound of formula I is obtained, for example, by reaction between a compound of formula II and a compound of formula III (R10 is H, or a protected OH or alkyl). This eye drop is administered at 1-2 droplets at a time normally once to six times a day; in the case of a form of eye ointment, an appropriate amount thereof is applied onto the conjunctival sac normally once to twice a day.
