PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion of a DLC thin film by forming a carbon impregnated layer composed by being impregnated with carbon ions by an ion impregnating technique on a spece between a substrate body and a DLC thin film. SOLUTION: In a polycarbonate substrate 1, a carbon impregnated layer 4 formed by impregnating carbon ions into a substrate body 2 is present on a space between the substrate body 2 formed of a polycarbonate resin and a DLC thin film 3 formed by DLC. Then, there exists no precise boundaries among these three ones, so that the problem of adhesion between the substrate body 2 and the DLC thin film 3 is not caused. Thus, even in the case the DLC thin film 3 is relatively thinly formed in the polycarbonate substrate 1, the generation of cracking and peeling in the DLC thin film 3 can sufficiently be suppressed, so that its durability to impact and stress from the outside is made excellent. |
