PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject tape and sheet, capable of being readily and linearly cut without using a jig such as scissors by the fingertips, having water- proof, moisture-proof and air-tight properties, and not having asperities on the surface of the tape by laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on a specific laminate. SOLUTION: This tape or sheet is obtained by laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 6 on one surface of a laminate 7 comprising a transversely oriented polyolefin-based film 1, a reinforcing film 3 and aluminum foil 5. Preferably, the reinforcing film 3 has characteristics of a tensile strength within the range of the lower limit of 1.5 kg/cm to the upper limit of 10 kg/cm, and a tear strength within the range of the lower limit of 5 g to the upper limit of 200 g. The laminate 7 has preferably 0.1-2 kg tear strength in the traverse direction, and the film 3 preferably contains a man-made fiber. The adhesive layer 6 is preferably composed of an adhesive material containing a polymer- modified asphalt or a butyl rubber. |
