摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improver for the impact resistance of a thermoplastic resin which can remarkably improve impact resistance of a resin even when added in a small amount, is excellent in weatherability and can appreciably reduce fading and whitening caused by long-term outdoor use. SOLUTION: The graft copolymer is obtained by graft polymerizing one or more vinyl monomers (B) with a rubber component, which is mainly made of an alkyl(meth)acrylate, a crosslinking agent and/or a graft crosslinking agent as main components and which has an average particle size of 0.05 toμm to 0.15μm wherein particles having such a particle size within the above-defined range are present at a weight fraction of 80 wt.% or over. The graft copolymer comprises 80 to 99.9 wt.% of the rubber component (A) and 0.1 to 20 wt.% of the vinyl monomers (B).
