PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed for cultivating a vegetable or ornamental flower, which can be placed on an upper side of building or construction structure easily at low cost, causes no damage to the building or construction structure on which it is placed, is provided with water retentivity, water draining capacity and air permeability, and can be easily removed. SOLUTION: This bed is composed of a waterproof sheet 12 placed on an upper side 10 of building or construction structure, to separate the bed from the building or construction structure, lattice-patterned sheet of hard plastic, and concrete blocks 16 in this order from the lower side to the upper side, and the adjacent blocks are connected to each other by a connecting member 18 to form a fence, wherein a layer 12 of crushed stones, plastic water-permeable sheet 24 and soil layer 26 are provided in the fence in this order from the lower side to the upper side. |
