PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for an aircraft that is light in weight and compact with high efficiency and reliability with good mileage and is possible to dehumidify and cool down to minus several dozens of degrees Fahrenheit with less bleed air from an engine. SOLUTION: The bleed air 1 from an engine is led to a heat exchanger 4 of ACS cooled by ambient ram air 3 to be cooled. Then, it is led to a high temperature side of a reheater 5 and is heat-exchanged with air in a low temperature side of an evaporator 7 to be cooled. The output air is led to the evaporator and cooled again, then passed through the reheater 5 and is processed for adiabatic expansion by a turbine 6. The air processed for adiabatic expansion can be cooled down to minus several dozens of degrees Fahrenheit and is supplied to a mixing chamber 15.
