PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device with improved reading image quality by stabilizing sheet conveyance performance. SOLUTION: A first unit driving system 111 is composed of a motor 111 a, a motor pinion gear 111b, and gears 111c and 111d. A second unit driving system 112 is composed of a motor 112d, a motor pinion gear 112e, and gears 112b and 112c. A paper feeding roller 106-1 and a paper discharge roller 108-1 each have different driving sources.
