PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant composition which is useful for sliding guide surfaces, prevents stick slips between a metal surface and a metal surface and between a metal surface and a fluororesin surface on the slipping guide surfaces of machine tools, and enables the improvement in the processing accuracy of mechanical parts, or the like, and the prolongation in the lives of the tools. SOLUTION: This lubricant composition for sliding guide surfaces comprises at least one oil selected from mineral oils, fatty oils, fats and synthetic oils as a base oil, at least one organic molybdenum compound selected from (A) molybdenum dithiophosphate and (B) molybdenum dithiocarbamate, and preferably further (C) a thiophosphate and/or (D) dithiophosphoric acid. |
