PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball lifting device easy in assembly work, easy in exchange without lowering the strength of a connecting part and capable of lifting, pachinko balls by surely transmitting a driving force to a spiral rod. SOLUTION: In this device for lifting balls by rotating a spiral rod 5 inside a pipe 4, a spiral recessed groove is formed on a driving shaft 7 of a driving means 6 provided at the upper end part of the pipe 4 and a terminal part 9 of the spiral rod 5 is connected to the recessed groove spirally with the revolving direction of the driving shaft 7. Since the driving shaft 7 is not revolved backward in this ball lifting device, the spiral rod 5 is not dropped during operation. Besides, when the spiral rod 5 is revolved inversely, it can easily be detached.
