<p>Particles comprising a peroxy compound with capability of releasing hydrogen peroxide or peroxy acids in aqueous solution, wherein the amino acid is selected from the group consisting of beta-alanine-N,N-diacetic acid, isoserine-N,N-diacetic acid, and an amino acid of the general formula (I), wherein R is H, -CH2OH or CH3, or the salts thereof.
