PURPOSE:To improve operationability by simultaneously conversion-processing plural words when they are in an example dictionary without processing a word one by one in the conversion-processing of a homonym. CONSTITUTION:A KANA Japanese syllabary string inputted from an input means 103 is punctuated at a clause unit by a KANA/KANJI Chinese character 104, the KANA character strings of the respective clauses are respectively converted into plural word candidates by the reference of a KANA/KANJI converting dictionary 101 and a word selecting means 105 selects the effectively combined words from the converted word candidates based on the example of an example dictionary 102. When conversion into the homonym is indicated, another effectively combined words which are different from those selected by the word selecting means 105 based on the example stored in the example dictionary 102 are selected from the word candidates converted by a same sound word selecting means 106 and are displayed in a display means 107. |
