PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect metal terminal plates attached to a seat plate to the lead terminals of a capacitor main part firmly with a simple work. SOLUTION: A chip-type electrolytic capacitor 10 has a capacitor main part 10a and a seat plate 20 attached to the sealing part side of the capacitor main part 10a. Lead insertion parts 21 are formed in the seat plate 20, and metal terminal plates 30 are attached to the seat plate 20. In order to connect the rod-shaped lead terminals 13 of the capacitor main part 10a to the metal terminal plates 30 through the lead insertion parts 21, recessed parts 211 with predetermined depths from the bottoms of lead insertion parts 21 of the seat plate 20 are formed in the lead insertion parts 21, the lead connection parts 32 of the metal terminal plates 30 are placed in the recessed parts 211, and the lead terminals 13 of the capacitor main part 10a are soldered to the lead connection parts 32 of the metal terminal plates 30 with high temperature solder.
