<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet multiplexer where transfer of a best effort service is in coexistence with transfer of a traffic service requesting delay quality. SOLUTION: An input processing section 110 calculates an output validity on the basis of a delay limit in the case of receiving an input packet and stores the calculated validity to an attribute storage memory 140 together with a size of a packet. A read control section 150 selects packets of larger size and outputs them sequentially within the range keeping the delay validity by comparing the packet size stored in the attribute storage memory 140 with the output validity with respect to some entries at the head of a queue 130.</p> |
