摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image input device which secures stable and highly accurate pixel shifting quantity precision at all times and is moreover inexpensive. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an optical refracting means arranged in parallel in front of the optical path of an image pickup element 12, and a light flux projected onto the image formation face of the element 12 is shifted by inclining the optical refracting means with regard to the element 12. The device has position regulating members 6 and 7 directly abutting on the surface and rear face of the optical refracting means. The optical refracting means is composed of a flat glass 1, and run off for the members 6 and 7 is provided in a holder which supports the glass 1. The device is provided with s drive means 5 which turns and energizes one edge of the holder 2 whose other edge is support turnably. The means 5 makes the optical refracting means inclined via the holder 2.
