PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect designated external connection lines having different electric wire sizes by constituting an interval between a relay terminal block, which is provided in a relay terminal block fitting seat fixed along with the terminal block and to which the external connection line having specifications-designated electric wire size is connectable, and a terminal having the terminal block connected thereto via an intermediate connection line. SOLUTION: Where a protective relay 1 is a digital protective relay, it is so constituted that an external connection line of 2 mm2 can be connected thereto, however, some external connection lines are 5.5 mm2. A relay terminal block fitting seat 11 is cofastened along with a terminal block 2 by a terminal block fixing screw 3 for the terminal block 2 so as to be fixed to the protective relay 1, and the relay terminal block 12 is fixed to a fitting hole 11a of the relay terminal block fitting seat 11 along with a protective cover 17 by an attaching screw 18. A crimp terminal 14 of a 2 mm2-M3.5 screw and a crimp terminal 15 of a 5.5 mm2-M4 screw are crimped to the terminal block 2 side and the relay terminal block 12 side respectively between the terminal 2 having the terminal block 2 connected thereto and the relay terminal block 12. The interval between the terminal connected to the terminal block 2 and the relay terminal block 12 is connected by an intermediate connection line 13.
