<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a solar cell and a manufacturing method of the solar cell which can achieve high reliability and a low manufacturing cost, and eliminate additional cost for string coverings. SOLUTION: A tunnel diode 34, which is in a cut of the direct region of a protective diode 28, is extended between photoelectrically active layers 36 and 38 which generate power and the front side region of a substrate 30. Furthermore, the front side region of the substrate 30 or a front side layer which is formed on the substrate or composed of the substrate 30 has a polarity, corresponding to the photoelectrically active layer 38 and is of partially at least one diode semiconductor layer of the protective diode 28.</p> |
