PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a private radio communication system capable of specifying and managing the position of a person possessing a portable terminal device up to detailed areas with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: This private radio communication system is composed of a plurality of installed base stations 3, portable terminal devices 4', a controller 1 for managing and controlling plural base stations 3, a position display terminal 2' connected to the controller 1, and a plurality of transmitters 5 arranged in the communication areas of plural base stations 3. Each portable terminal device 4', which has received the identification code of a certain transmitter 5, transmits a position registration request signal to its corresponding base station 3, so that the position of the terminal devices 4' is displayed on the display terminal 2'.
