<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner having fixability, anti-offsetting property, preservability and durability by fixing at least part of inorganic fine particles on the surfaces of matrix particles comprising a bonding resin with a colorant by heating in a field of hot flowing air and specifying the coverage of the inorganic fine particles to the surfaces of the matrix particles. SOLUTION: At least part of inorganic fine particles 2 are fixed on the surfaces of matrix particles 1 comprising a bonding resin with a colorant by heating in a field of hot flowing air in such a way that the coverage of the inorganic fine particles 2 to the surfaces of the matrix particles 1 attains to >=46% to obtain the objective toner having an amorphous particle shape. The amorphous shape is formed by crushing or another method and is a shape other than a perfectly spherical shape. The toner prevents filming caused by sticking to a photoreceptor drum due to the peeling or falling of the inorganic fine particles 2 for surface modification from the surfaces of the fine matrix particles 1.</p> |
