PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily process coil ends and to provide a coil which can be mounted on various kinds of magnetic heads by forming the end of the coil in such a manner that a terminal is disposed near a land and then covering the formed part with a specified resin to fix. SOLUTION: A coil 3 is mounted on a jig and a coil end 3d is formed into a specified form. A resin 3e which is a UV-curing resin is applied to cover the coil end and is irradiated with UV rays by a UV ray irradiation device to harden the resin. Thus, the coil end 3d is fixed into a specified form. The top end of the coil end 3d as the terminal is the free end and it can be easily disposed in a land part 6a and soldered. Moreover, by forming the coil end 3d into a desired form and fixing the end with the resin 3e, the coil 3 can be used for various kinds of magnetic heads.
