AUTONOMOUS TRAVELING VEHICLE CAPABLE OF GETTING ON/OFF ELEVATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ITS GETTING ON/OFF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous traveling vehicle capable of getting on/off an elevator having flexibility capable of easily coping even with a case hat there is a story on which required work can not be executed or a story on which working s not required and to provide an elevator getting on/off controlling method capable of effectively preventing the generation of a collision accident with an elevator door when the autonomous vehicle gets on/off the elevator. SOLUTION: An autonomous traveling vehicle capable of automatically getting on/of elevator and successively moving plural previously set stories is provided with a preset means 12 for optionally selecting a story on which the vehicle is to get on/off the elevator out of the plural stories. In the case of getting the traveling vehicle on/off to/from the elevator, the traveling of the vehicle is started after checking the opened state of the elevator door by a front sensor 5 attached to the vehicle.
