PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of an air-grid type grid for eliminating scattered rays that is used for a radiation image pickup device, and to easily manufacture the grid. SOLUTION: A plurality of slots 116 for focusing toward a radiation source are formed at a plate 104 that is composed by a radiation absorption substance, and a plurality of slots 114 for focusing toward the radiation source are formed at a support plate 102 that is similarly made of the radiation absorption substance. By combining the plurality of support plates 102 and the plates 104 by the engagement of the slots 116 and 114, a grid-shaped scattered beam elimination grid 100 where each of the support plates 102 and plates 104 is directed toward the radiation source is composed. |
