PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a barrier, which can be held at a prescribed position, having a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the camera equipped with a slide barrier 11 which can be moved from a closed position where a photographic lens 7 is covered with the barrier 11 and to an open position where the barrier 11 is retreated from the photographic lens, a notch 15 is partly formed in the slide barrier 11 so as to form a click spring part 19A, and then, a click projecting part 13 is formed in the part 19A so as to be engaged with click recessed parts 4 and 5 arranged in the camera main body 1. And, by suitably engaging the click projecting part 13 with the click recessed part 4 or 5, the slide barrier 11 is positioned in a closed/full open state.
