The rocker, as a swing mounting for the aluminum mast (1) of a sailing boat, is a welded fine steel structure (14) in an A-shape secured to the deck. The mast pivots on an axis (4) at the level of the rotating points for the shrouds. The mast is mounted with a flat plate within the mast with rivets at the forward side with an inner tube. Two removable side arms hold the shrouds at the rocker.
