Disclosed is a clutch apparatus comprising a clutch base (120) having a supporting boss (122) which has first spline grooves (122a); a clutch cover (110); an output shaft (130) having a sun gear (132); rotating bearings (B4) fitted around the output shaft such that the output shaft can be rotated in one direction and cannot be rotated in the other direction; planetary gear sections (140) each possessing a guide shaft (144) and a planatery gear which is meshed with the sun gear; a rotating member (150) having a ring gear which is meshed with planetary gears and third spline grooves (154); a multiple disc clutch member (160) having inner plates (162) which are splined into the rotating member and outer plates (164) which are splined into the supporting boss; a pressing plate (170) letting the inner and outer plates to be tightly engaged one with another; pressing means (180) for applying pressing force to the pressing plate; and pressing force adjusting means (200). |
