PURPOSE: A halogen heater insulation structure of a microwave oven is provided to prevent the transmission of heat generated in a lamp to terminal parts for the connection with an outer power and a lamp tube in the vicinity of the terminal parts by using insulation bars having a sectional area larger than filaments not to act as resistors, thereby preventing the damage of the halogen lamp by the heat. CONSTITUTION: A halogen heater insulation structure of a microwave oven includes filaments(34) for emitting light by an applied current, a lamp tube(32) filled with a predetermined gas inside while the filaments are disposed inside, lead wires(40) having terminal parts(38) for supplying the current to the filaments, and insulation bars(36) interposed between the lead wires and the filaments to be electrically connected to both ends of the filaments and having a resistance smaller than the filaments not to emit light, wherein the insulation bars are formed with the same material with the filaments and have a sectional area larger than the filaments.
