PURPOSE: An apparatus for collecting solar heat using a heat pipe is provided to absorb the solar heat in a short time by mounting a heat pipe in a heat collection plate and sensing the movement of the sun for increasing the heat efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for collecting solar heat using a heat pipe includes a base(26), a main shaft(17) vertically mounted on the base rotatably, a semicircular frame(16) fixed on the main shaft, a heat collecting plate(12) formed of a material having high heat conductivity in the shape of semi-sphere, of which both ends are rotatably coupled to the frame, a lens(14) mounted on the heat collection plate, a heat pipe spirally disposed at an upper part in the heat collection plate, a hot water pipe spirally disposed at a lower part of the hat pipe and having water introducing pipe(321) at an upper part and a drain pipe(323) in the center of the heat collection plate, a horizontal rotation element connected to the main shaft for rotating the main shaft horizontally, a vertical rotation element mounted at an end of the frame for rotating the frame, a sensor(20) mounted to the frame for chasing the direction of the sun, and a control part for controlling the horizontal and vertical rotation parts for the lens to face the sun by the sensor.
